The Replacement Mat Strip (included in the purchase of the 12-inch Trimmer) only needs replacement after 2,000 total cuts. The 12-inch Trimmer includes a holder for a spare Replacement Mat Strip so that you are never without the tools that you need for cutting papers and cardstock.
